Kendrick Lamar would beat Lil Wayne in a rap beef – Charlamagne tha god argues

Rap star, Kendrick Lamar would destroy his senior colleague, Lil Wayne if the two rap titans were to engage in lyrical battle, according to popular American radio host, Charlamagne Tha God.

While Wayne and Kendrick collaborated on Tha Carter V cut “Mona Lisa,” tension has been brewing between Kendrick and Wayne in recent months after Kendrick  was announced as the headliner of the Super Bowl halftime show in Weezy’s hometown of New Orleans next year.

As the temperature has continued to rise following the release of Kendrick’s latest album GNX, Charlamagne mulled over the outcome of a possible feud between the pgLang and Young Money leaders.

Speaking on The Breakfast Club on Monday (December 2), the radio personality said: “Listen, Lil Wayne is a top five MC of all time. He don’t want no problems with Kendrick right now.

“And the reason he don’t want no problem with Kendrick right now is because emotionally, mentally and spiritually, Lil Wayne is not on the level to get at Kendrick, ‘cause Kendrick would break down Lil Wayne’s whole life in a very therapeutic way [laughs].”

He added: “It’s not even gonna be a diss; it’s gonna be out of love. He’s gonna break down how Wayne ushered in the era of the fiends — ’cause he did. He’s gonna talk about a lot of Wayne’s trauma’s. How Wayne’s only got three dreadlocks. It would be a lot of pressure coming from Kendrick.”

Lil Wayne recently appeared to threaten beef with Kendrick Lamar after he namedropped him on GNX.

The rap legend wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Man wtf I do?! I just be chillin & dey still kome 4 my head. Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg u all. No one really wants destruction, not even me but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love.”

The comment was in response to Kendrick referencing Wayne and the Super Bowl controversy on his album opener “wacced out murals.”

“Used to bump ‘Tha Carter 3,’ I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down / Whatever, though, call me crazy, everybody questionable/ Turn me to an Eskimo, I drew the line and decimals,” he rapped.

He later wrote: “Won the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me/ All these n-ggas agitated, I’m just glad they showed they faces/ Quite frankly, plenty artists but they outdated/ Old-ass flows, tryna convince me that you they favorite/ This is not for lyricists, I swear it’s not the sentiments/ Fuck a double entendre, I want y’all to feel this shit.”

Wayne previously made it known how disappointed he was not to be selected to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl to be held in his home town, New Orleans, saying the snub “hurt” him and left him “broken.”
