The grandson of Hollywood star Paul Hogan is wanted by police after he was allegedly caught with drugs and equipment he used to break into a house.
Jake Paul Hogan, 34, failed to appear in court at Downing Centre on Friday, accused of possessing prohibited drugs and burglary paraphernalia.
Court documents reveal the Crocodile Dundee star’s grandson was found in possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine shortly before midnight on July 27 in Glebe in Sydney’s CBD.
At the time, he is also said to have had tools with him that he could use to break into homes and businesses, including a wrench.
If found guilty and convicted of both crimes, he could face up to two years in prison.
Hogan was scheduled to appear in court again on Friday to answer charges, but when he failed to appear despite multiple summonses, police sought a warrant for his arrest.
In granting the application, Magistrate Clare Farnan told the court she had found the alleged offences “proven” and Mr Hogan was due back in court on August 28.
The court was told the 34-year-old had also breached two community corrections orders and “a number of intensive corrections orders” by failing to appear in court on Friday.

This comes after Mr Hogan was sentenced in March after pleading guilty to burglary, theft, possession of goods suspected to be stolen and looting equipment.
The former carpenter had a nice house, a car, a steady job and a girlfriend he hoped to marry, but his life went into a downward spiral earlier this year after the relationship ended.
Jake’s father is one of five children born to Paul and his first wife Noelene Hogan.
The famous grandfather of Jake Hogan, who won the 1987 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his breakthrough role as Mick “Crocodile” Dundee, lives in Los Angeles.

Instead of working in his chosen profession, courts have heard how Jake carried burglary gear and hung around posh apartment complexes, looking for opportunities to steal.
An acquaintance of Jake said he was “not a bad person, but he was completely lost.”
“He’s actually a good person with a very kind personality and a helpful family,” the person said.
“He was still so upset about his mother’s passing. He never got over it because he never processed it properly.”
Jake’s mother, Marie, declined “very sadly” in the weeks leading up to her death from multiple sclerosis when Jake was 17 in 2006.
After her death, Paul Hogan left California, where he lived with his second wife Linda Kozlowski and their young son Chance, to attend his daughter-in-law’s funeral.
Todd eventually remarried to registered nurse Jane and the couple now live in New Zealand, while Jake remained in Sydney.
