As General Manager, Business CFCC Operations, you will support the Group Director, Business CFCC, in managing the execution of key AML/CFT and Sanctions controls. This role ensures that all subsidiaries operate in alignment with Group standards while collaborating with other leaders to strengthen the first and second lines of defence in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and addressing financial crime risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead effective management of Name Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Transaction Screening, Post Investigation Actions, escalation of STRs to MLRO, Financial Crime Deep Dives, Complex Investigations, Systems & Scenarios Reviews, and Enhanced Due Diligence.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand internal and external networks while staying abreast of regulatory requirements and industry best practices to enhance AML/CFT/CPF and sanctions control processes.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to embed required controls into new products and initiatives to mitigate AML/CFT/CPF and sanctions risks.
- Implement processes to manage potential AML/CFT risks arising from regulatory and geopolitical changes, ensuring these are embedded into FCR business processes effectively.
Competencies
- Proven experience (no less than 6 years) in compliance management within a large international bank, with a strong focus on Compliance risks.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and requirements in the banking industry.
- Skilled in leveraging analytics and technology to manage compliance risks.
- Strategic and critical thinking with a keen ability to solve complex problems.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging stakeholders across all levels.
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence change.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
