A fresh set of Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks has ruined some of the most anticipated features that had popped up in previous leaks about the game.
At the start of May, Rockstar Games delivered a blow to Grand Theft Auto fans as they announced that GTA 6 would be delayed until May 26, 2026. The iconic game developers stated that they need more time to deliver at the levels that fans are expecting.
However, it hasn’t been all bad news. The long-awaited second trailer was revealed shortly after the delay, as well as close to 100 new screenshots, and character back stories.
Additionally, established leaker GameRoll has also dropped some big details about the game’s story length, new gameplay features, and a few other bits. Yet, those leaks are bad news for some features that fans had been looking forward to.
GTA 6 won’t have AirPods for music out of cars
One of the biggest things that fans have been hoping for is the ability to play music while outside of cars, through the use of headphones. This, as of now, isn’t in-game according to GameRoll’s new leaks.
Neither is the ability to go prone or dual-wield weapons. “Prone still cut and dual-wielding was never in the game,” the insider said on Discord.
There is also no Disney World parody. That had been expected by fans for a while, especially as early map leaks pointed to a big theme park outside of Vice City. A smaller theme park has been spotted in the new screenshots, it clearly isn’t on the level of the Happiest Place on Earth.
As for Lucia’s ankle monitor, that reportedly doesn’t affect gameplay in any way. That is contrary to rumors that it would put some areas off-limits for her.
The insider did note that some of the clips from the second trailer are actually bits of gameplay. That includes the ability to walk into a store and buy a case of beer, which Jason can be seen doing.
