Singer Linet Munyali alias Size 8 has announced that she is now single after 11 years of marriage to Samuel Muraya, also known as DJ Mo.
“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace and sometimes it does not work. But all in all, God is still on the throne. I have been married for 11 years and now i start the journey of singlehood “ Size 8 wrote on her InstaStory.
What could have prompted her to walk away from her marriage?
This is a good question, considering that even when their marriage was rocked by cheating allegations against DJ Mo, Size 8 chose to stay, attributing the issues to the devil.
DJ Moh Cheating Allegations against Size 8
In October 2020, DJ Mo’s alleged side chick, Margaret Wanyama, shared intimate chats and nude photos of the gospel DJ with blogger Edgar Obare.
The side chick alleged that Dj Mo may have cheated on Size 8 because she was slow in bed and did not satisfy him.
The news were shocking considering Size 8 and DJ Mo has hosted a Valentine’s dinner for couples just six months prior. Attendees paid KSh 7,000 for regular tickets and KSh 10,000 for VIP ones to receive marriage advice from the Murayas. And the event was a success.
Cue to the cheating allegations against DJ Mo eight months later.
Following the expose, Size 8 had a public meltdown because of the humiliation.
But, in the true spirit of an understanding wife, Size 8 chose to forgive her man. She explained, “I did not want this thing to break him or destroy him or whatever the devil wanted to do.”
During their reality TV show, Dining with the Murayas, with Size 8 explained her decision further, “I looked at him and said, ‘I want to love him the way Christ has loved me.’ He was shocked, by the way.”
DJ Mo, who felt the world was against him, would not have been surprised if Size 8 had left him during that time.
Instead, DJ Mo was amazed and grateful, saying, “Imagine I’m trending and someone is making money off me. I stayed quiet. Then my wife said, ‘It is okay, relax.
“I have booked a place for us to go and unwind.’ I thought, ‘What is she planning?’ I worried she might be setting me up. But we went, talked, and prayed together.”
So, what could have led Size 8 to abandon her marriage, assuming she is not chasing clout?
