Grand Theft Auto fans have started recreating Jason’s house from GTA 6 in other games, and they think it looks “more realistic” than Rockstar’s effort.
At the start of May, Rockstar Games finally gave Grand Theft Auto fans the news they dreaded – delaying GTA 6 until May 26, 2026. The devs noted the delay would give them “extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve.”
In the wake of the delay, however, they did release the long-awaited second trailer, as well as close to 100 new screenshots, and details about several characters. This has meant that fans have been able to dig through fresh information in order to piece together the game’s story and locations.
One popular location has been Jason’s house. Or, at least what is perceived to be his home. It’s the house that he can be seen working on during the early part of the trailer, as well as lying down on the couch when Lucia is released from prison.
GTA 6 house rebuilt in Far Cry 5
As they’ve gotten so obsessed with the home, GTA fans have taken to other games to recreate it. That includes a stunning remake from Redditor Fresh-War5908 using Far Cry 5 Arcade. They manage to remake both the inside and outside of the house, down to the now-iconic couch.
“The interior you made almost looks more realistic in some ways,” one fan chimed in. “We got GTA 6 in Far Cry 5 before GTA 6,” another joked. “That’s actually crazy. I couldn’t figure out which one (pic 1) was GTA at first! Haha,” another commented.
“Damn this is cool, great attention to detail,” added another impressive fan. “Holy s*it the outside is insanely well done.”
Rockstar have gone back to being silent on all things GTA 6, focusing on GTA Online instead.
The online portion of GTA 5 is getting a new update this summer, as usual, so it’ll be interesting to see what that has in store.
