Is Flick Offers a scam? What you need to know about Netflix job site

Flick Offers is a new website offering the chance to get paid to do something we do for free: watch Netflix. However, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Netflix is undeniably the biggest streaming service in the world, with more than 300 million paid global subscribers, a number that has continued to grow following its password sharing crackdown.

And it’s safe to say that there’s plenty to be excited about right now, with Squid Game Season 3, Stranger Things Season 5, Wednesday Season 2, and The Witcher Season 4 all set to drop in the second half of 2025.

Now imagine you could earn money while watching your favorite titles. Sounds like the dream job, right? This is exactly what flickoffers.com is offering, but don’t be fooled.

Is Flick Offers a scam?

By all accounts, it appears that Flick Offers isn’t a legitimate site. Scam Detector gives it a score of 6.9 out of 100, one of the lowest you can get.

There are certainly signs to look out for. Not only was it launched on Sunday, May 25, 2025, but it consists of just one homepage, has no affiliation with Netflix, contains no company or owner information, and has zero verified reviews.

Plus, the job details are unrealistic. On the website, it states that US users can earn $36 per hour by watching and reviewing Netflix content from home. The listing promises you can work on your own schedule, with no talking or experience required.

As stated by YouTube channel Online Scam Advisor, “Legitimate companies are transparent. This one’s a ghost.”

“When you try to sign up, they often ask you to refer others first or complete surveys before you can get started. That’s a tactic we see in classic pyramid style scams.”

Finally, its investigation found that there’s no proof of payment. “We searched online and couldn’t find any verified reviews, no payment screenshots, and definitely no happy users,” it continued.

“If a company could afford to pay everyone $36 an hour just to watch movies, they’d go viral on mainstream media, not hide behind sketchy websites.”

Why do sites like Flick Offers exist?

Websites like Flick Offers are often designed to exploit people seeking easy income opportunities or at-home side hustles. They typically gain from individuals signing up by:

  • Collecting personal information – users are prompted to provide personal details, which can then be sold to third parties or used for identity theft.
  • Affiliate marketing schemes – the sites may redirect users to complete surveys or sign up for services, earning the site owners commissions without providing any real job opportunities.
  • Advance fee scams – some platforms might ask users to pay a fee upfront for training materials or access to job listings, only for the promised opportunities to be nonexistent.

Scam Detector tagged Flick Offers as “suspicious, young, and untrustworthy,” stating, “The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors.”

Other sites to avoid

Flick Offers is hardly the first site of its kind. Flickcareers.com and flickeeviewers.com are two more well known platforms mirroring the same promises – to earn money watching and reviewing Netflix movies and shows.

However, they both lack transparency, have no verifiable contact information, and have been flagged for suspicious activities by scam detection platforms.

Investigations have revealed that they redirect users to affiliate offers and collect personal data under false pretenses.

You may notice a number of TikTokers and other social media users claiming they’ve made money from such platforms, but chances are they either earn money by driving traffic to these sites or simply boosting their own views.

This won’t always be the case, but it’s crucial to approach such claims with skepticism and conduct research before engaging with these sites.
