Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is kicking off a $50 million advertising campaign with a new television spot that describes the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee as “fearless” throughout her career.

“Throughout her career as a prosecutor, attorney general, United States senator, and now as vice president, Kamala Harris has stood up to bullies, criminals, and special interests on behalf of the American people — and she has defeated them,” said a statement from Jen O’Malley Dillon, the campaign manager.

“She is uniquely qualified to take on Donald Trump, a convicted felon who has spent his life ripping off working people, taking away our rights and fighting for himself.”

The ad will air during the Olympics, “The Bachelorette,” “The Daily Show” and other popular programs in an attempt to settle the score with Republicans, who have spent more than the Democrats on the radio during a chaotic summer when President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign and endorsed Harris.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion will make a special appearance with Vice President Kamala Harris during her campaign visit to Atlanta on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for Harris confirmed in a message on X on Monday evening that the hip-hop star performed with the vice president.

Harris’ campaign is promising a large rally in Atlanta, similar to the large events that former Republican President Donald Trump has signed off on.
