Radisson Blu Residence Nairobi is looking for a Purchasing Receiving Clerk to join its Finance team. This role involves ensuring the efficient receipt, quality control, and documentation of goods delivered to the hotel.Key Responsibilities
    1. Receiving Goods:
      • Accept products from suppliers as per the Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) issued.
      • Verify that the quality and quantity of the products meet the hotel’s standards.
    2. Verification and Coordination:
      • Ensure the correct number of items are delivered at the correct prices according to the LPO.
      • Coordinate with the purchasing agent for guidance in case of discrepancies in quantity or price.
    3. Stock and Record Management:
      • Safely hand over received goods to the storekeeper.
      • Update inventory records in the system with accurate details, ensuring correct unit and price entry.
      • Maintain proper documentation by attaching delivery notes, goods received notes (stamped by both the storekeeper and security), and invoices.
    4. Reporting and Compliance:
      • Submit daily receiving reports to the Cost Controller along with invoices and delivery documentation.
      • Participate in monthly stock-taking activities.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
    • Good communication and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, including purchasing, storekeeping, and cost control.
