Kenyan YouTuber Iam Marwa has shared the story of how he met his wife, Rocio ‘Ro’ Cabrera, on a dating app. Marwa, who was traveling in Mexico, joined Bumble, a dating app where women make the first move. To his surprise, he matched with Ro, an Argentinian singer-turned-content creator.
“I was in Mexico and decided to try Bumble. The lady has to text first, and Ro sent me a message saying hi. We hit it off immediately,” Marwa explained.
They went on a lunch date the very same day they matched, and their relationship quickly blossomed.
“She was very attractive, and her not being a local in Mexico showed she had already seen the world. Ro Cabrera had been traveling a lot for three years,” Marwa said about his wife.
“I was looking for a traveling partner who loves to explore,” he added. Ro’s enthusiasm for travel was a significant green flag for Marwa.
Marwa and Ro Cabrera, who have been together for almost a year, are now expecting their first child. The couple recently announced that their baby will be born in Argentina.
“We clicked right away. It was like magic. And now, we’re excited to start a family together,” Marwa said.
Their love story began with a simple message on an app and has now become a global journey as they share their adventures with their followers.
