Job Summary
The Department of Radiology is seeking qualified Radiologists to join the faculty team. The role involves interpreting medical imaging studies, including radiographs, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, to diagnose and guide treatment for various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and explain imaging procedures to patients during initial encounters.
- Analyze and interpret imaging studies to deliver accurate diagnoses to physicians and/or patients.
- Recommend suitable radiological procedures tailored to patient needs.
- Adhere to established medical procedures, policies, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety rules and regulations.
- Oversee the administrative operations of the department to ensure the efficient delivery of radiology services.
- Monitor and maintain adequate materials and resources for the department’s smooth operation.
- Provide teaching and supervision for radiology residents performing various imaging procedures.
Qualifications
- MMed in Radiology or equivalent qualification.
- Certification and registration with the relevant Medical Practitioners and Dentists Regulatory Body.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Adequate experience gained during a residency program as per curriculum standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
