Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah on Saturday, November 23, 2024, graced the Borana cultural night at Bomas of Kenya.
Murkomen on Sunday, November 24, 2024, took to his official X account to share photos from the event which showed them stunning in the Borana traditional attires.

The photos show that the attendees seemed to have enjoyed the event. Murkomen revealed that they had celebrated diverse customs and shared traditional delicacies.
Murkomen further stated that people had gathered at the event to embrace the beauty of their differences and build connections that transcend tribal boundaries.

Murkomen thanks event organizers
Murkomen in his statement also thanked the organizers of the event for hosting them.
He went ahead to reveal that the Cultural Festival, themed ”Embracing Our Heritage, Uniting Our Voices,” showcased cultural heritage, exclusive crafts, cuisine, and culture, offering an immersive experience through music, dance, and other forms of artistic expression.
