Blake Lively praised her good friend Gigi Hadid for being the “perfect date” to the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere.
The 36-year-old actress wore a Deadpool-inspired outfit for the premiere, while Gigi, 29, wore a Wolverine-inspired outfit.
Blake, who is married to Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, also thanked her sister and best friend, actress Robyn Lively.
Her sweet note, which she shared Friday morning, comes a day after she responded to a note from her best friend Taylor Swift about Ryan, in which she called him her “godchildren” sperm donor.

Blake rocked a custom Versace jumpsuit, which the actress called “the most stunning custom LadyPool couture I could have ever imagined” in her Instagram post.
The beauty wore the burgundy suit to the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere on Monday, which took place in New York City.
Gigi stepped out in a Wolverine-inspired Miu Miu look.
The stars held hands as they posed together on the red carpet.
“What a night. The love and joy I felt watching @deadpoolmovie was almost as strong as what I felt when I arrived and – once again – matched the carpet,” she wrote.
“This time with my perfect date @gigihadid,” she added, along with a yellow heart and a fire emoji.

Taylor shared a note along with a photo of herself with Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, Ryan, Blake and the film’s director Shawn Levy.
The note read: ‘Over the past few years I’ve watched one of the best friends on the planet pour all of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness and magic into this film. He’s made the best work of his life and this film feels like a true portal to joy, a wild escape from reality and a stomach-churning sandwich.’
