‘Embrace the beautiful Journey’ – Diana Marua shares throwback photo of her after delivering first child

Digital content creator and rapper Diana Marua has asked her female followers to embrace their body changes during pregnancy and after giving birth.

Taking to her official Instagram page, Diana, on Friday, July 26, 2024,  shared her throwback photo in the company of her husband Bahati and two unknown people with a touchy caption after she had delivered her firstborn child Heaven Bahati.

The mother of five disclosed that she took the body changes and hormonal imbalances graciously adding that her parental journey is the most fulfilling experience.

“Spot me if you can Someone sent me this and I’m in Awe of what A woman’s body goes through especially after being pregnant and giving birth… this is me after I delivered my first baby @heavenbahati Weeeeeuuhh,” she wrote.

“The hormonal Imbalances and the body Changes, I took it all in graciously. What is more fulfilling, is seeing how far I’ve come raising my little Blessing.”

Diana B further said that valuing and focusing on the body is an important feeling adding that the body changes that come with pregnancy are worth it.

“God is Good. Don’t beat yourself up. Embrace the beautiful Journey, it’s all worth it. You will live to laugh another day,” she said.

Heaven Bahati

Diana gave birth to Heaven on February 14, 2018, via cesarean section.

In an outdated video, the content creator disclosed that she opted for a C-section since she suffers from Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD).

She went on to say that the doctors advised her against giving birth the natural way adding that a C-section was not her priority.

“What happened with my firstborn baby Heaven, I got a complication where my pelvic bones zilikuwa zinashikana and it got to a point where walking a small distance was very hard for me. I couldn’t even move from the bed to the bathroom, that condition is called Symphysis pubis. So with that, the doctor had to advise me not to go the natural way,” she said in a past video.

“I did not prefer to go for a C-section, natural birth was not an option for me and on my second baby, the same happened and that’s why I opted for a C-section.”

Symphysis pubis dysfunction

Symphysis pubis dysfunction is a group of symptoms that cause discomfort in the pelvic region and it usually occurs during pregnancy, when pelvic joints become stiff or move unevenly.
