Stan will see a new documentary about one of the biggest bribery scandals in history this month.
The documentary is led by award-winning journalist Nick McKenzie and chronicles his global investigation into the bribes, crimes and corruption in the oil industry, and the company owned by the Monaco-based Ahsani family.
The investigation came to light after McKenzie helped quash public allegations of bribery at Australian engineering giant Leighton Holdings (now CIMC).
McKenzie revealed: “This story started with an anonymous letter in the post and led to one of the largest international bribery investigations in the world.
‘This doco takes people into what was a great investigative journalism adventure.
From the outside, the Ahsani family’s company Unaoil had a highly respected image: they organized fantastic fundraisers and were in contact with the royal family and politicians.
