Insurance Officer
Responsible for managing KenGen’s insurance portfolio, ensuring adequate coverage, handling claims processes, assessing risks, and managing insurance-related contracts to protect the company’s assets and operations.
Property Officer
Oversees KenGen’s real estate assets, including property management, leasing, maintenance coordination, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to maintain the value and functionality of KenGen’s properties.
Technician, Mechanical
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, supporting optimal performance of KenGen’s energy production facilities. Ensures machinery runs safely and efficiently.
Technician, Electrical
Maintains and repairs electrical systems and equipment across KenGen facilities, ensuring safety and reliability in power generation processes through skilled troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Technician, Automotive
Provides maintenance and repair services for KenGen’s fleet, ensuring vehicle safety, reliability, and availability for operational needs across various departments and project sites.
Craftsman, Mechanical
Assists in mechanical repairs, fabrication, and general maintenance of mechanical equipment, supporting production operations and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Craftsman, Electrical
Works alongside the electrical team to conduct repairs, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on electrical components, contributing to safe and uninterrupted energy production.
Craftsman, Civil
Handles minor civil works, maintenance, and repair tasks across KenGen facilities. Supports structural integrity and ensures a safe, well-maintained environment for operations.
Craftsman, Auto Mechanical
Focuses on general maintenance and repair of automotive equipment, playing a supportive role in keeping KenGen’s fleet and related machinery in optimal working condition.
Senior Engineer, Technical Assurance
Leads technical quality assessments and provides assurance across engineering functions. Responsible for setting standards, conducting evaluations, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices in power generation.
Manager, Power Generation
Oversees power generation activities to ensure efficient and reliable electricity production. Manages operational teams, coordinates maintenance, and optimizes performance to meet KenGen’s energy goals.
Manager, Quality & Safety
Develops and implements quality and safety policies, overseeing compliance across all KenGen operations. Ensures adherence to safety standards and continuously improves quality controls to protect personnel and assets.
Manager, Business Process Reengineering & Innovation
Drives process improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Identifies areas for reengineering, implements new strategies, and fosters a culture of innovation across the company.
