Kourtney Kardashian reveals terrifying incident in Australia and why she would NEVER move Down Under – as her big trip with Travis Barker is brought to life on her family’s hit show

Kourtney Kardashian revealed her terrifying incident in Australia and why she’d never move Down Under in the latest episode of her family’s hit reality series.

The 45-year-old American reality star and her husband Travis Barker are currently on a family adventure in Australia, which is featured on The Kardashians, and fans are getting a candid look into their trip to the country.

Kourtney and Travis arrived Down Under in February with her children Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9 — whom she shares with ex Scott Disick — and their son Rocky, who was 3 months old at the time.

Kourtney’s eldest son Mason, 14, remained in the US with his father Scott. The media personality admitted she was “really sad” that he decided not to join them.

The Hulu show documented the trip in the penultimate episode of season five, which saw the family explore Sydney’s tourist attractions including Bondi Beach and Luna Park.

But Kourtney says not everything went smoothly. She admitted that the biggest thing about Australia is the giant spiders. She says that’s why she wouldn’t move Down Under.

Footage flashed onto the screen showing a giant spider scurrying across a wall as Kourtney confessed, “The only reason I could never move to Australia is the spiders.”

“It’s just scary and it’s not the way I want to live,” she added.

Kourtney also told her children and the family’s nanny, Allie Garcia, that she had been nervously searching for spiders during the big trip Down Under.

And she came across more than one. She even captured a huge huntsman spider (which are generally not considered dangerous) under a magnifying glass at their $10,000-a-night luxury Sydney property before taking the spider out of the mansion with her.

Despite her encounters with arachnids, Kourtney confessed that she and her children loved spending their time in Australia.

“We’re having a great time,” Kourtney said after landing to join Travis Down Under on his band blink-182’s Australian tour.

‘Travis is going on tour for about a week to different cities in Australia, but because I’ve been on bed rest for that and also had a newborn at home, I haven’t really been out with my other kids yet. That’s why I really wanted to stay in Sydney.’

On The Kardashians series, Kourtney and her kids were seen playing tennis, feeding horses, eating ice cream on the beach, and enjoying dinners out, making the most of their time Down Under.

While their trip Down Under was set in The Kardashians, Kourtney admitted that the worst thing about Australia was the giant spiders. She said that's the only reason she wouldn't move Down Under.

Reign admitted his favourite part of Australia was the ice cream, while Penelope said of the trip: ‘Going to the beach [was my peak] and I felt bad that a shark had attacked me and that’s why I didn’t want to go into the water.’

But brave Reign replied, “Oh, what does it matter, if one person gets bitten, I’ll take the risk.”

The family also enjoyed a day out on a yacht with Travis’ bandmate Mark Hoppus and his wife Skye, before riding Luna Park’s famous rollercoaster.

“I think these are the scariest rides Reign has ever been on,” Kourtney confessed. “It’s so rare to have two whole weeks of 24-7 time with my kids because of school and them being with their friends.”

Kourtney explained that she hired a nanny to look after baby Rocky during their stay in Australia so she could travel with her older children.

“We didn’t hire a nanny or babysitter for Rocky at all, but now that we’re in Australia we felt it was important to bring someone along so I could get out of the house and go out with the other kids and have adventures with them,” she explained.

“So I really plan every adventure around his nap time and then I have a period where I’m gone for two and a half hours. Then I feel like I’m ready to go back.”

“When I leave the baby behind, I want to be there fully and make the most of it. This memory with my kids and with Travis is really special,” she enthused.

Kourtney and Travis also looked smitten during the trip. In a scene where the drummer arrived back in Sydney after a trip with blink-182, they packed their PDA.

“This is the longest we’ve been apart since the baby was born,” she said of the nine days they were apart while Travis flew to Melbourne to perform.

However, Reign was not impressed with their cozy displays and hilariously told them, “Stop making out with Travis, bro. Didn’t you just have a baby? Don’t have another one so soon.”

But Kourtney told the camera, “I think it’s beautiful to see parents, especially those who just had a baby, being loving and affectionate. There’s nothing wrong with that.”

While exploring the sights of Sydney, Kourtney raved about the “perfect” vacation and how grateful she was to be joining Travis Down Under.

“Australia has been absolutely perfect so far, I’m so glad I decided to go,” she added.
