A father who led police on a high-speed chase was filmed kissing his baby and partner goodbye before handing himself over to police.
The unidentified man drove recklessly at speeds of 60-70 miles per hour during rush hour on Wednesday afternoon as Los Angeles police followed him for miles.
Ultimately, he had nowhere to go after becoming stuck in a dead-end street at Shedd Terrace and Wrightcrest Drive in Culver City.
The driver, his partner and their baby got out of the vehicle when it came to a stop.
The man was seen hugging his family several times before dropping to his knees and turning himself in to police.

The driver, a man with braided ponytails, and the woman, dressed in a denim jacket and black pants, were both detained while the baby was handed over to officers, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The chase began in Hawthorne, where the man was reportedly involved in a robbery, according to KABC.
He then drove through traffic at dangerous speeds, nearly hitting other vehicles.
When the suspect reached Culver City, he was driving at speeds in excess of 50 mph with the baby and woman in the backseat.
Video footage from the end of the chase shows the driver driving into a dead-end street as several officers block his path.
We see him reach his arms through the window and wipe tears from his face, before the woman in the backseat hands him the small child.
The suspect then opens the driver’s door and addresses the officers, then dives back into the car and hands the baby back to her.
He takes off his coat, hangs it on the door and hugs the woman in the backseat.
Before he gets up, he puts his head in his hands and wipes his face with his white T-shirt.
He eventually stopped the car after getting stuck on a dead end street in Culver City. He was seen getting out of the vehicle with the woman and baby girl

Footage also showed a group of officers comforting the young child as the adults were arrested.
