The Fiserv Forum erupted in loud boos and jeers when former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley took the stage. Her former rival, President Donald Trump, however, gave her a standing ovation in a clear sign of unity.
She took the stage moments after Trump, WWE-style, left the stage again during the second night of the Republican National Convention.
The former president was seen on the big screen, fists clenched and a smile as he walked from the tunnels behind the stage to the lower level of the convention center.
A short video montage of Trump dancing at The Village People’s YMCA concert sparked excitement and joy among waiting fans.
Flashing red, white and blue lights and a loud cheer of support greeted the former president as he walked into his VIP box filled with family, friends and his most loyal supporters.

The second day of the GOP convention brought many popular Republicans to the stage: Vivek Ramaswamy, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), House Speaker Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), and many more.
The speakers criticized Biden’s border policies, the president’s age and his vision for a renewed America under Trump’s leadership.
A surprise guest, former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley — who had a bitter battle with the former president before withdrawing — was met with a massive booing as she took the stage.
Later in her speech, she managed to change the crowd’s mind by saying that you don’t have to “agree with Trump 100%” to vote for him.
The alternative — Biden and Harris in the lead — is much worse, she explained.
