We are a leading digital consulting firm based in Nairobi with a strong bias for technology, media and marketing. We are seeking a brilliant multifaceted creative designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters to produce the final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Design motion graphics
- UI/UX design
- Event set up creative concepts for complex events
- Video editing & motion design
Requirement
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of creative work, illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)
- Experience working in an agency/consulting firm
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism
- Experience in handling complex design briefs
