Harry Kane and Declan Rice’s brothers hilariously ‘force feed’ England fans shots of tequila one-by-one in a German bar, telling revellers to ‘get it down your gullet’ ahead of Sunday’s Euro 2024 final

England brothers Harry Kane and Declan Rice have been caught trying to cheer up Three Lions supporters ahead of the 2024 Euro 2024 final against Spain.

Gareth Southgate’s team have delighted the nation by reaching the final of their second major tournament under his leadership, and ahead of the match in Berlin, fans are already in the right mood.

A handful of them even had the rather surreal experience of being passionately begged by the siblings of two of England’s best players to have a game of golf in the aptly named Irish Pub, located in the German capital’s Europa Centre.

In a hilarious clip posted to X by user Connor Wakefield, Declan Rice’s older brother Connor can be seen urging partygoers to take one of the many shots that have been purchased and placed on the bar.

“Things that weren’t on my Euro 2024 bingo: Getting tequila shots from Declan Rice and Harry Kane’s brothers,” Wakefield wrote in X.

“Come on bro, let’s go, go, go,” Rice said, before ordering the fourth unsuspecting victim to “get it f***ing down your throat.”

Harry Kane’s brother Charlie also appears in the short clip and is mentioned at one point by Rice’s brother. The video ends with a graphic showing the number of drinks purchased, which was over 60.

Football fans will know Charlie Kane as he was the brother of his agent for many years, particularly during his contract problems at his former club Tottenham.

Last October, Mail Sport reported that Kane’s agents would not feature on FIFA’s first list following the introduction of new tests, which intermediaries must pass by October 1, 2023, in order to be licensed as part of the new regulations.

Before the exams, there were almost 15,000 registered agents. That number skyrocketed when FIFA deregulated the industry in 2015. However, the latest list now contains just 4,766 names.

Kane is one of several relatives of Three Lions players who are representing their relatives who are not on the list. Mark Bellingham, Jude’s father, is one of those on the list.

FIFA introduced the 60-minute, 20-question test this year. Agents had to study a 528-page book for the exam, with some agencies paying as much as £800 an hour for online tuition. To gain a licence, candidates who were not considered ‘legacy agents’ with a longer track record had to pass by the start of this month.

English fans will be hoping the pair don’t celebrate their permanent place in the team too soon.

There will surely be similar scenes in Berlin and England on Sunday evening as the team achieves its ultimate goal of lifting the European Championship trophy for the first time.

But before there can be any cheering, Southgate and his team have the small task of beating a Spanish team who have been the best in the competition so far.

Luis de la Fuente’s men go into the final as favourites. They have won all three of their group matches, but have made short work of Georgia and France. In the quarter-finals they won with a little more difficulty against Germany.

Southgate, who will remain England manager regardless of the outcome of Sunday’s final, is not worried about injuries before the match. He led the team in their final training session on Saturday morning.

His current contract expires in December, but any decision to leave will be made well in advance, with England’s next matches scheduled for September.

There is a growing feeling that Southgate could leave his position after the European Championship, due to fan dissatisfaction with his leadership.

But England’s euphoric run to the European Championship final has confirmed the FA’s position that Southgate is still the best person for the job.

The English Football Association will let Southgate know they want him to stay for at least another two years. They will take him to the 2026 tournament in the United States once the current tournament is over, even if they lose on Sunday.

The 53-year-old footballer kept his thoughts about his future after Euro 2024 secret, which has caused additional uncertainty in recent months.

Whether he wins or loses on Sunday, Southgate may already have decided he wants to return to club management.

He was a contender to replace Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, but the Dutchman has signed a new contract at Old Trafford.

Should Southgate leave his post, Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe, Mauricio Pochettino and Graham Potter are among the contenders to replace him.
