McDonald’s has announced that it is bringing two favorites back to its U.S. menu this summer, but only for a limited time.
A popular burger returns, as does a special McFlurry flavor.
The fast food giant announced Monday that it is reintroducing the beloved Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with cheese.
The company will also offer a version of the burger that comes with two patties, which are already available in restaurants.
“Everyone’s favorite sandwich is back,” the beloved chain said in a statement.

The big burgers first hit the menu in November 2022 and feature a quarter-pound beef patty topped with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, Roma tomatoes, lettuce and “special smoky BLT sauce” on a bun.
They are getting a new item: the Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry.
The new frozen dessert is made with vanilla soft serve, blended with chunks of Kit Kat bars and “real banana-strawberry clusters,” McDonald’s announced.
Both the Smoky BLTs and the new McFlurry will be available for a limited time only, but the company has not specified how long this period will last.
McDonald’s is launching more new products and offers this summer to attract customers.
The $5 meal was a hit at restaurants last month. Customers also receive four items: a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, a soft drink and four McNuggets.
Last week, the chain announced that it is bringing its first-ever garlic sauce to the US.
The old favorites are joined by a new item: the Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry
The special garlic sauce is inspired by the black garlic sauce you can find at the Golden Arches in Japan.
It’s good news for McDonald’s fans who are eager to see more international cuisines come to the US.
McDonald’s launched two new versions of its McShaker fries last month — and fans are saying they’re “life-changing.” One has a spicy masala flavor, and the other a sweet churro flavor.
But much to the disappointment of fans in the US, the new fries are only available in Canada.
