13 Vacancies Open At International Rescue Committee

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is currently seeking motivated and passionate professionals to join their team in various capacities. These roles are critical to supporting the organization’s mission of providing emergency assistance, protecting human rights, and improving the health and education of those in need. The positions available include:

  1. Volunteer – WATSAN: Assist in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs, focusing on the provision and maintenance of water supply systems and sanitation facilities.
  2. Volunteer – Sanitation and Hygiene: Support hygiene promotion activities, including community education on sanitation practices and the implementation of hygiene improvement projects.
  3. Deputy Director, Finance: Oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with policies, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance.
  4. Director, Strategy and Measurement in Emergencies: Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans and measurement frameworks for emergency response programs.
  5. Director, Program Quality and Performance in Emergencies: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of emergency programs, focusing on performance measurement and continuous improvement.
  6. Senior Reproductive Health Manager: Manage reproductive health programs, including family planning, maternal health, and gender-based violence prevention and response.
  7. Supply Chain Volunteer: Support the supply chain team in logistics, procurement, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  8. Consultancy-Qualitative Research Facilitators: Conduct qualitative research to inform program design and implementation, focusing on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  9. Crisis Modifier Partnership Officer: Manage partnerships and coordinate crisis modifier activities to enhance the resilience of communities facing emergencies.
  10. Nutrition Researcher: Conduct research on nutrition programs, focusing on program effectiveness, innovations, and best practices to improve nutritional outcomes.
  11. Health Technical Advisor, East Africa: Provide technical support and guidance to health programs in East Africa, focusing on quality assurance and capacity building.
  12. MEAL Officer: Oversee monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities to ensure program effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Volunteer – WATSAN/Sanitation and Hygiene: Relevant experience in WASH programs, strong communication skills, and a commitment to community engagement.
  • Deputy Director, Finance: Degree in finance, accounting, or related field with significant experience in financial management, preferably in the humanitarian sector.
  • Director, Strategy and Measurement in Emergencies: Advanced degree in a relevant field with experience in strategic planning and performance measurement in emergency settings.
  • Director, Program Quality and Performance in Emergencies: Advanced degree in a relevant field with experience in program management and quality assurance in emergencies.
  • Senior Reproductive Health Manager: Advanced degree in public health, medicine, or related field with experience in reproductive health program management.
  • Supply Chain Volunteer: Relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management with strong organizational skills.
  • Consultancy-Qualitative Research Facilitators: Experience in qualitative research methodologies with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Crisis Modifier Partnership Officer: Experience in partnership management and crisis response activities with strong coordination skills.
  • Nutrition Researcher: Advanced degree in nutrition or related field with experience in nutrition research and program evaluation.
  • Health Technical Advisor, East Africa: Advanced degree in public health or related field with experience in health program management and technical support.
  • MEAL Officer: Degree in a relevant field with experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities.
