An Atlanta mother was seriously injured after she was attacked by a group of highly venomous spiders in her backyard.
Jessica Rogue, 44, is still recovering from a bite to her face by brown recluse spiders while she was cleaning out a shed in her home on July 1.
Rogue told AtlantaNewsFirst that she was busy tidying up a messy web when she felt the spiders on her body.
Less than a day after she was bitten, she was rushed to the hospital with her face, arms and throat completely swollen.

Rogue, a mother of three, still suffers from scars, a rash and a bandage on her eye from the venomous bites and spent several days in the hospital.
“My eye is what I’m really worried about. My eye is, I’m in a lot of pain. I just don’t know what’s going to happen to my eye,” she told the local news outlet.

Organizer Morgan Underwood wrote: ‘She’ll also have to call in a pest control company to deal with the spider infestation.
The swelling on Rogue’s lip is due to a “non-cancerous lymphoma/tumor and a broken piece of her tooth that is embedded in her upper lip”

‘The swelling on her face has gone down a lot. It’s now covered in an itchy, painful rash. Her arms, neck and chest are also covered in an itchy, painful rash, and the areas where she was bitten are blistering, so we’re keeping an eye on that.
‘She’s having trouble with her right eye, so she may need to see a specialist there soon.’
Underwood also clarified that the swelling on Rogue’s lip is the result of a “lymphoma/tumor that is not cancerous, and a broken piece of her tooth that is embedded in her upper lip.”

Underwood said Rogue’s insurance will not cover the removal of the lymphoma because it is considered a cosmetic procedure.
