A video on Facebook captured the floodwaters inundating Tha Din Dam village in Chai Badan district, Lopburi province, causing significant damage to homes and businesses.
Rotsukhon Phromma posted a clip showing the severe flooding that affected shops and residential areas in Tha Din Dam.
“Why is the water so strong again? The shop is completely ruined. Be careful, it’s dangerous. The water knocked over all the motorcycles.”
The floodwaters were described as murky and brown, flowing with great force and sweeping away everything in their path. The video, approximately 10 minutes long, shows the continuous and intense flooding, highlighting the substantial damage caused. The water level reached about 50 centimetres but was powerful enough to cause extensive harm.
The video has garnered numerous comments from viewers, many of whom offered words of encouragement and concern, reported KhaoSod.

In related news, Phuket Governor Sophon Suwannarat spearheaded a substantial cleanup operation in Kamala following heavy rains that caused widespread flooding across Phuket. The downpours on June 30 led to traffic disruptions, flight delays, and flooded neighbourhoods.
Joining the Governor in Kamala were Phuket Vice Governor Sattha Thongkham, Phuket Provincial Chief Administrative Office Suwit Suriyawong, Phuket Provincial Police Commander, Police Major General Sinlert Sukhum, and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Center Director Kas Sentoyeap.
In other news, flooding has plagued a village in Korat for over five days, leaving residents without assistance. Some have been forced to rent temporary accommodation due to the severe conditions.
A local shared photos of villagers wading through water and homes submerged in water. His post highlighted the ongoing struggle, noting that while his house remains submerged, other areas had dried up, receiving no assistance from local governments.
As of June 26, reporters confirmed that the water levels in Sawan Prik Thai community, Mueang district, Nakhon Ratchasima, have begun to recede.
