Rebel Wilson pulls her $2.3million Balmain penthouse from auction – after enlisting her real estate agent sister Annachi to sell the property

Rebel Wilson has taken her $2.3 million Sydney penthouse off the auction block after previously moving the sale from June to July.

The 44-year-old Pitch Perfect star bought the Balmain investment property in 2015 for $1.88 million.

Now the actor, who enlisted his younger sister Annachi ‘Anna’ Wilson to help sell the home, has canceled the auction altogether, reports The Daily Telegraph on Sunday.

It is unclear if and when Rebel plans to auction the luxury apartment again, but it appears she did so on the advice of her realtor.

Anna, 32, joined Cobden & Hayson Real Estate earlier this year as a sales agent, having previously worked as a purchasing agent.

Matthew Hayson, director of Cobden & Hayson, said in his video market update this week that the success rate at auctions in Rebel’s territory is now below 50 percent.

This mid-week report may have been the reason Anna and Rebel have pulled the Balmain estate from auction for the foreseeable future.
