Lindsay Hubbard is starting a new chapter in her life with a new man and a baby, less than a year after her ex Carl Radke called off their wedding.
THe Summer house star, 37 – who recently claimed Dorinda Medley leaked her pregnancy news – told PEOPLE on Saturday that she felt like her “prayers had been answered.”
When asked how her ex-fiancé would react to the news of her pregnancy, she told the media that she had no plans to tell him.
“I’m sure he’ll find out when the rest of the world finds out, but I’m not going to call him up and have a conversation with him,” she said.
“That relationship is in the past and I can’t really focus on the past anymore because I’m so focused on the present and the future,” she added.

After being asked how her ex-fiancé Carl Radke would react to the news of her pregnancy, she told People, “His emotions are no longer my responsibility”; the two were seen in 2022
“And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It’s just not my problem anymore,” she noted.
The blonde beauty and her ex-fiancé broke up during an episode of Summer House and recently reunited during the season 8 reunion.
She explained that she had a positive attitude because she was given so many things to be grateful for.
“That’s what gave me that quiet, calm strength that I had at the reunion,” Lindsay said. “In the back of my mind the whole time I was thinking, ‘Just let me get through this, and then I can focus on the important things that matter to me right now’ — which certainly wasn’t everything.”
She was also very excited about her pregnancy: “It’s so clear to me that the universe had a plan,” the TV personality explained. “I feel like my prayers have been answered.”
The New York native, who recently announced her pregnancy with her unnamed boyfriend, went on to speak about the joys of impending motherhood.
“I was very lucky and blessed that the pregnancy went quite easily,” she said.

“I’m just happy that I can talk about it publicly now and that we can celebrate it with our friends,” she says.
“I’m a very shout-from-the-rooftops kind of girl. I’m just ready to let it all out,” she finished.

Lindsay and Carl canceled their wedding in late August 2023, but reportedly tied the knot a few weeks later.
The reality TV couple got engaged on August 27, 2022, at Dune Beach in Southampton.
They first laid eyes on each other in 2016, during the opening season of Summer House, but were not yet in a committed relationship at the time.
They started dating in the summer of 2019, but soon broke up and later had an on-again, off-again relationship.
