Previously, the couple had been candid about their pregnancy and the struggles they had with expanding their family.

In 2022, Alexander revealed that Lauren had suffered a third miscarriage and in the emotional post, he heaped praise on his wife.

“The strength of this woman never ceases to amaze me,” he wrote in the caption of a photo of him kissing her in a hospital bed.

‘I love you @laurenludwig and your resilience is just one of the many reasons I love you. All the bumps life throws at us, we have this and for everyone else, you are not alone. It’s a lot more normal than I thought.’

He also reposted a lengthy post Lauren had shared, in which she candidly talked about her miscarriage and how she wanted to go public with the news to remind other women who have also suffered a miscarriage that they are “not alone.”

“Last week @alexanderludwig and I had our third miscarriage. I decided I wanted to share it because I don’t think there’s any shame in talking about it,” she wrote in her post.

“I want others to understand how common miscarriages are and that they shouldn’t be ashamed of it,” she continued.

“Going through this has made me realize that I am absolutely not alone,” she added. “It’s so common and yet I feel like it’s not talked about enough. If more of us talked about these things, maybe we would feel less alone and less guilty. Information is power and I want to share more of it.”

She concluded her post by saying that the tragedy will always be a part of their lives, but that she hoped “by sharing this, even if it’s just to let that one person reading this know they are not alone .”
