Heartstopper actress Yasmin Finney puts on a racy display in sheer sparkly mini dress on a night out in London

Yasmin Finney showed off her best side in a sheer, sparkly mini dress during a night out at Zuma London on Thursday.

The 20-year-old actress, who is transgender, looked absolutely sensational in the stylish ensemble, which was embellished with glitter all over her body.

Yasmin is best known for her roles as Elle Argent in Heartstopper and Donna Noble’s transgender daughter Rose in Doctor Who.

During her evening on the tiles, Yasmin left little to the imagination and teamed the mini dress with a pair of short panties.

She completed her daring look with a pair of white net gloves, a silver diamond necklace and silver earrings.

Yasmin looked even better in a pair of silver heels and wore an impeccable makeup look.

This comes after The Doctor was berated by Yasmin’s character Rose during last year’s first 60th Anniversary special for calling an alien “he”.

The character was criticized by the daughter of her former partner Donna Noble, because she referred to a cute, fluffy creature named Beep The Meep as “him”.

Rose, played by transgender actress Yasmin, questioned the Doctor’s assumption that the alien was a ‘he’, asking him: ‘You assume he is a pronoun?’

The Doctor, realizing his mistake, apologized and asked Meep if it was a “he or she or they,” to which the creature replied, “My chosen pronoun is the definite article. I am always The Meep.”

The hour-long special saw Yasmin make her debut and she became an instant hit with fans after she discovered the mysterious alien that escaped from a crashed spaceship and tried to hide it in the barn.

Not all viewers were complimentary about the scene, however. According to the Family Education Trust, it promoted a “cult of gender ideology” among young people watching the TV show.

The Trust wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘The entire episode is devoted to promoting the cult of gender ideology. Many vulnerable children watch Dr Who – this is yet another appalling piece of propaganda from the BBC.’

Elsewhere, Yasmin’s role as transgender teenager Rose was seen as groundbreaking for the series, with her name being a nod to The Doctor’s beloved companion, Rose Tyler.

This is because the Heartstopper star candidly admitted last year that she doesn’t think she will “ever fall in love” and told how men have “let her down”.

Yasmin gave her very candid thoughts on love and dating while chatting with her Cosmopolitan UK with some of her co-stars from the hit Netflix series.

She was joined by Kizzy Edgell, Rhea Norwood and Corinna Brown for the extended interview, with the stars all posing for a sensational cover shoot.

Yasmin plays the role of teenage Elle Argent in the series, who has a blossoming romance with Tao Xu. However, the star says she doesn’t think she’ll fall in love in her own life.

She candidly admitted that she is too ‘sure’ of herself to ‘put herself down’ in front of others and said she feels like men let her down ‘all the time’.

She told the publication: ‘I don’t think I’ll ever fall in love. I’m too sure of myself to put myself down for another person who isn’t ‘with me.’

“It’s what (singer) Eartha Kitt said: ‘I want to fall in love with myself and… I want someone to share me, with me.’ But it’s hard. Men leave me all the time.”

Yasmin admitted she found the response to the first season of Heartstopper ‘overwhelming’, as she shot to fame overnight.

Before landing her role in the series, which is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, Yasmin was a college student and admitted she didn’t realize how popular Heartstopper would become.

She said: ‘I didn’t realise how big Heartstopper would become. When I was cast as Elle at 17, I was just excited to play this amazing trans girl who’s living authentically.’

“I was still figuring out who I was, so it was overwhelming to see the reaction to Elle. Who I am will always be something people want to talk about, but individuals should never be seen as a political playground.”

“The great thing about Elle is that she is so natural, confident, happy and real. She will always be my hero.”
