Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nkuna City is a project spearheaded by Dr. Mike Nkuna Construction for the R46B Nkuna City is underway.Â
Information reads: “Construction for the R46 billion Nkuna City, also known as Limpopo’s Sandton, is underway. Nkuna City is a project spearheaded by Dr. Mike Nkuna.”
Nkuna City is a smart city project now under construction on 119 hectares of land near the town of Elim in Limpopo, South Africa’s northernmost province. Industry, shopping centers, value retail, residential, business site, hotel with conference facilities, intermodal facility, medical, educational, and sports facilities are all planned for the city.
The Masingita Group of Companies, which is a leader in large-scale retail property development in South Africa, is behind the project. After Lanseria Smart Metropolis, Mooikloof Mega City, and Durban Aerotropolis, Nkuna City is said to be the fourth post-apartheid city to be created. However, unlike the others, Masingita Group believes that the Nkuna City development could be the first of its kind.
