Caitlin Clark’s teammates have come under fire again after the Indiana Fever were defeated by the Chicago Sky on Sunday night.

Christie Sides players were criticized by many people after an earlier meeting between the two teams, when Clark – the No. 1 overall pick – was pushed to the ground by Chennedy Carter.

Clark’s teammates were criticized for not doing more to protect their star player. Now, after Sunday’s defeat to Sky, they have come under fire for not supporting her with the ball.

Several clips have flooded social media showing players dropping simple passes and missing layups.

“Not gonna lie, Caitlin Clark might have some of the worst teammates in the WNBA,” one fan wrote.

‘Caitlin Clark with seven assists at halftime. Crazy to think how many she would have if her teammates crossed the finish line,” another added.

Clark is currently averaging 5.6 turnovers per game during her first season in the WNBA. That’s 1.7 more than anyone else, but some fans insist this isn’t her fault.

“Clark’s teammates can’t understand this, that’s why she leads the WNBA in turnovers,” one fan wrote. “Her teammates literally can’t catch the simplest of passes,” another added.

Clark was asked after the game if she wished she had made more shots late in Sunday’s game.

“I mean, sure, you can wish it. “I’m sure I had another chance at the end to probably shoot there again, but I trust my teammates…I’m going to give them the ball every time,” she said.

Incredibly, the No. 1 Draft pick made just two shots in the final seven minutes despite being one of the best shooters in women’s basketball.

She also appeared to have a disagreement with Indiana Fever coach Sides in the closing stages of the game 88-87 loss.

In a clip circulating on social media, Clark can be seen gesturing furiously as he talks to Sides, before the Fever coach responds to her complaints.
