Newcastle United’s Loris Karius married Italian sports presenter Diletta Leotta in a stunning ceremony on Vulcano Island, Sicily, on Saturday.
The goalkeeper, 31, shared a kiss with his wife as the newlyweds wrapped their arms tightly around each other in front of their 160 guests.
The couple exchanged vows in front of the breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, together with their daughter Aria, who turns one in August.
They were also joined by friends including Elisabetta Canalis, Michelle Hunziker and Elodie and Eleonora Berlusconi at the extravagant ceremony at the five-star Therasia Resort.
Diletta, 32, looked stunning as she opted for a backless wedding dress with long sleeves and intricate lace detailing.

The corset-style bodice flowed into a flowy skirt, while lace detailing flowed down her arms into a pair of gloves.
She swept her blonde locks back into a tight bun and added an Atelier Eme veil emblazoned with the phrase “All I ever wanted.”
Meanwhile, Loris, who got married on his 31st birthday, opted for a tuxedo with a white jacket, while his blonde hair was also tied back from his face.
Accompanied by her father, Diletta walked down the aisle to All of Me by John Legend.
The couple beamed as they stood to say their vows surrounded by masses of white flowers.
Diletta also shared photos of the big day on her Instagram on Monday after the holiday weekend.
Earlier this year, Diletta begged Loris to consider her home country as his next career destination so he could be closer to her and their daughter, and even suggested a possible club he could join.
“Loris has people at his side who work for him,” she told Italian newspaper Tuttosport. ‘I hope he makes the best decision for his career.

‘I live in Milan, so let’s say it would be ideal for us to be close to Milan. I always tell him: players who come to Serie A fall in love with Italy and often stay there forever. I think that could happen to him too.
‘[He should join] Monza or another team in Italy. I would be happy if he came to Italy to play with his family.
‘Newcastle is very difficult because there are no direct flights. Neither about Paris nor about Amsterdam.’
Diletta and Loris started dating in October 2022 before getting engaged the following year, but have remained long distance due to their career commitments.
After spending time in Manchester City’s youth academy, Loris started his senior career with German side Mainz. He made 96 appearances for the Bundesliga before joining Liverpool.
Signed by Jurgen Klopp as Simon Mignolet’s successor, the German has struggled to maintain the consistency that had made him so successful in his native country.
Despite starting his second season at Anfield as the club’s number two, Loris would be ever-present as Klopp’s emerging side reached the Champions League final for the first time in more than a decade.

Unfortunately for him, that night in Kiev would prove to be the low point of Loris’ football career, as he made a pair of high-profile mistakes, both of which led to goals as the Reds lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.
Although it later emerged that Loris had suffered a concussion prior to the mistakes, he never played another league match for Liverpool as they broke the world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper to sign Alisson for £66.8 million months later.
After his contract on Merseyside expired, Loris joined Newcastle to serve as the club’s third-choice goalkeeper in 2022.
With Nick Pope suspended and Martin Dubravka in a cup tie, Loris made his first appearance for the Magpies in their EFL Cup final loss to Man United at Wembley.
