In a passionate call to action, Diana reached out to her friends and family, urging them to stand in solidarity and join the protests in the Central Business District (CBD). Her advocacy for active participation in the movement highlights her dedication to promoting social change and amplifying the voices of the younger generation.

Diana’s update on joining street protests

Just recently, Diana broke her silence about the Reject Finance Bill 2024 protests, explaining why she had disappeared from social media and the streets as other Kenyan celebrities joined in the fight both online and on the streets.

In a social media post, the mother of four apologised, saying she had been fighting a cold.

“I have not been feeling well the last couple of days. I was coughing, which led to chest pains because of the severe cough. It came with headaches and hot flashes; I am feeling hot and cold. I have not left this bed since Tuesday,” Diana stated.

In her endorsement of the protests, Diana urged Kenyans to stay in the streets until their demands were met.

“When we come together, we can reverse the finance bill. Every hashtag counts. Every person on the streets counts. I am hoping I will feel better tomorrow, and see how things are going to be. Pray for me, guys; I am hoping I will be better. Let’s continue staying on the streets and reject the finance bill,” Diana added.
