Bryce Harper has gone viral for a reason he may not want to be associated with… when he replicated the “Hawk Tuah” gesture while suiting up for the Phillies on Friday.

The wild celebration came after Philadelphia’s star doubled in a home game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

But despite the 5-4 defeat, Harper gave fans something to talk about in the coming days (or weeks…) as footage on

The 31-year-old seven-time All Star, who is married with two children and expecting a third with his wife, paid tribute to a girl who was blasted on social media last week for ‘simulating a sexual act’ which refers to oral sex.

Baseball fans went crazy when they saw Harper imitating the TikTok trend.

Harper, who has a batting average of .285 this season compared to .281 in his career, said earlier this month that he wants “The Show” to expand its London series to a four-team round-robin competition in a potential idea for league officials.

The Phillies split their two-game series against rivals the New York Mets at West Ham United’s London Stadium on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9.

They won the first match of the series 7-2, before losing 6-5 just 24 hours later.

Next up for Philly are the D-backs later on Saturday. The final game of the three-game series is Sunday before a trip to Detroit.
