Lando Norris and his McLaren team were dramatically evacuated from their camper during the Spanish Prix today when a fire broke out.
The area around the paddock was cleared as fire trucks and ambulances arrived.
Previous marshals had entered the three-storey building with fire extinguishers – some were driven away or taken in ambulances after entering the building without breathing apparatus.
Team principal Zak Brown watched from as close to the scene as the security cordon allowed, smoke filling the hot air.
The fire broke out shortly before noon, half an hour before the third training session was due to start at the Circuit de Catalunya.
