Alexis Sánchez could make a sensational return to one of his former sides this summer.
The forward has had an illustrious career, playing for the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Inter Milan in recent years, while becoming one of the best players in world football.
Now 35, he is winding down his career, but last season he made 33 appearances for Inter in Serie A, scoring four goals as he played a small part in Simone Inzaghi’s season.
His future beyond this summer remains unclear with his contract in Italy expiring this summer and the two sides agreeing not to renew his deal, meaning he would be available for free if he decides to move again.
According to Gianluca di MarzioMeanwhile, the Chilean could make a stunning comeback to former team Udinese, with the forward playing for the club between 2006 and 2011 before moving to Barcelona.

Sánchez joined the club at the age of 17 after starting his career at Cobreloa, which marked his first move to Italy.
After loan spells at Colo-Colo and River Plater, he established himself as a key player for the club and earned a move to Barcelona for a fee of £30 million, where he learned under Pep Guardiola.
In total he played 95 games for Udinese and scored 20 goals.
After four years at Barcelona he moved to the Premier League, joining Arsenal for the same fee he moved to Spain and immediately becoming a key player under Arsène Wenger.
He scored 80 goals in 166 appearances for Arsenal and left for Manchester United in a swap deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan in 2018.
His form faltered at Old Trafford, where he made 45 appearances and scored just five goals, and he eventually left for Inter, initially on loan before making the move permanent in 2020.
After two years he had a year with Marseille in France, but moved back to Inter at the start of the season on a one-year contract.
Now he could be ready to come full circle and return to Udinese, who finished 15th in Serie A last season, with Inter as champions.

He may return to Usinese, for whom he played between 2006 and 2011, but he has reportedly had to lower his standards.
However, the report suggests that Sánchez will have to lower his standards if he wants to join the club, with his salary currently expected to be in the region of £80,000 per week.
Any deal would also likely carry a significant signing-on fee as there is no transfer fee involved.
Although he has already agreed to leave Inter at the end of his contract, it is unlikely that a move will be forced before the end of the Copa America as Sánchez is currently competing in the tournament for Chile.
