Renowned Hua Hin resident Lizzy Ginsel passed away at Hua Hin Hospital yesterday morning, June 20.

A cherished figure within the community, Lizzy’s legacy resonates through her philanthropic endeavours and unwavering support for numerous charitable causes, notably the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin.

Renowned for her spirited personality, Lizzy was the driving force behind the Multi-Culti Club (MCC), fostering cultural exchange and community cohesion. Her dedication extended beyond borders, securing life-changing scholarships at Stamford International University for aspiring minds like Dee Dee Kosin and Kwanthip Phutdee, a testament to her profound impact on education.

In related news, tributes flooded in for the late Australian actor Gregory Charles Rivers following the news of his suspected suicide at his residence in Clear Water Bay, Hong Kong on February 2. The Hong Kong TV drama icon, discovered near a tray of burning charcoal at his home in Tai Au Mun Village, left a void in the hearts of his fans and admirers.

In other news, acclaimed South Korean actor Lee Sun-kyun, renowned for his role in the Oscar-winning film Parasite, was discovered lifeless in a car at a prominent Seoul park on December 27 last year.
