A Thai transwoman in the central province of Uthai Thani is seeking justice after her ex-boyfriend conspired with his girlfriend to murder her by drugging. They then stole her car, mobile phone, and 15,800 baht in cash.

The 54 year old transgender victim filed a complaint against her 30 year old ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend at Mueang Uthai Thani Police Station and also shared the story with Channel 7, fearing her case would be ignored by the police.

The victim explained that she met her ex-boyfriend, who lived in the southern province of Trang, on Facebook, and he later moved in with her in Uthai Thani. The theft incident took place on Monday, June 17 at approximately 5.30pm, after they were in a relationship for about a month.

The victim’s ex-boyfriend returned home after visiting his family in Trang. He brought with him a young woman whom he claimed to be his younger sister.

The transwoman stated that she felt jealous and did not believe that the two were siblings. She asked the man directly about their real relationship. Her question led to an argument which quickly turned into a physical assault.

According to the victim, her ex-boyfriend strangled her with a cloth until she was unable to breathe. The woman, who he claimed to be his sister, then forced some powder, believed to be rodenticide, into her mouth and ordered her to swallow it.

The transwoman was unable to fight back, so the couple left her home in her grey Honda City car, with her mobile phone, 15,000 baht in cash, and 800 baht that they transferred from her mobile banking to their bank account.

The victim said she crawled out of her home to seek help from her neighbour. The neighbour reported the matter to the police and rushed her to the hospital, where the doctor successfully saved her life.

The transwoman believed that the two attackers had planned the poisoning and theft, as they had prepared the poison. They had brought her two cake boxes on the day of the incident but she had not yet eaten them. She suspects that there may be poison in the cakes and is keeping them for further investigation.
