Netflix releases trailer for Simone Biles docuseries ahead of Paris Olympics

Netflix has teased a new docuseries about Simone Biles ahead of the Paris Olympics, as the American gymnastics star shares behind-the-scenes footage of her life since her retreat to Tokyo four years ago.

The trailer for the four-episode series was released on Wednesday, with the first part set to premiere on July 17, just nine days before the Olympic Games opening ceremony – the streaming giant said.

In the docuseries, Biles, 27, will not only detail her preparations to resume her position at the top of gymnastics, but also explain her reasoning behind retiring from competition at the previous Olympics (2021), her return to the mat in 2023 and getting ready for the US Olympic Trials.
